Horse Schools FAQ For Parents Part 2

Can my teen have a career in horses by obtaining a Bachelors (or Associates)?

Many employers will accept a degree in horses in place of a certain number of years of hands-on experience while others still prefer hiring employees with a tract record of hands-on experience. There are 250+ possible careers within the horse industry that your teen can consider. Some require no formal education while others require going on beyond a Bachelors. Your teen’s career goals will dictate what type of education he/she should pursue. Deciding to major in horses in college can be a compromise reached between the teen, who wants a career in horses, and the parents, who want their teen to have a college degree to fall back on.
